Cookie Policy

Cookies policy

Last update: October 13, 2026.

This policy explains how ESGROUP uses cookies and other storage technologies on its website, as well as tracking the origin of requests submitted through its forms.

For any questions, you can write to hello@esgroup.es.

1. What are cookies and other storage technologies?

Cookies are small files that websites store in the visitor's browser. They allow information to be remembered, facilitate certain functions, and, depending on their purpose, analyze site usage or measure advertising campaigns.

There are also other technologies, such as browser session storage (Session storage), which allow you to store information temporarily without using a traditional cookie.

These technologies can collect identifiers and navigation data that, alone or in combination with other data, can constitute personal data.

2. Types of cookies and technologies

Cookies and storage technologies can be classified according to their purpose:

  • Techniques or necessary: They allow the operation of the site, the security and the provision of the services requested by the visitor.

  • Preferences or customization: they remember certain options, such as the language or the selected configuration.

  • Analytics: They allow us to know how the site is used and to evaluate its performance.

  • Advertising and campaign measurement companies: They allow us to identify the origin of visits and measure the results of marketing actions.

They can also be own or third-party, and session-based or persistent, depending on who manages them and how long they remain in the browser.

Technologies that require consent must remain disabled until the visitor accepts them.

3. Tracking the origin of the forms

ESGROUP uses its own script to identify the origin of the requests received through the contact forms, budget forms, and advertising campaign pages.

The script uses browser session storage (Session storage) under the key esgroup_tracking.

When they are available, collect the following data:

DatePurpose
utm_sourceIdentify the source of the visit.
utm_mediumIdentify the medium or channel.
utm_campaignIdentify the campaign.
utm_termKeep the keyword or campaign term.
gclidKeep the Google Ads click ID.
landing_pageIdentify the entry page.
referrerIdentify the originating page communicated by the browser.

The purpose is to know which sources and campaigns generate inquiries and to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing actions.

This information is temporarily stored during the browser tab session and, in general, is deleted when the tab is closed. The script does not store this data using a traditional cookie.

When the visitor submits a form, the tracking information is incorporated into their request and transmitted to the Odoo CRM used by ESGROUP. There, it can be associated with the name, email address, phone number, and other data provided in the form.

Deleting browser storage does not remove the data already sent to the CRM. Its processing and retention are governed by the provisions set out in our Privacy Policy. Privacy Policy.

This tracking serves the purpose of measuring campaigns and is not necessary to submit a request.

4. Third-party services

The previous policy identifies Google Analytics as an analytics service and YouTube as a provider of audiovisual content.

These services may use proprietary technologies to measure site usage or allow the reproduction of content. Their activation must be adjusted to the visitor's consent preferences, as appropriate.

You can consult information about their suppliers at:

The inventory of services, cookies, purposes and durations must be kept up to date in accordance with the effective configuration of the site.

5. Consent and preferences

Simply browsing this site does not imply acceptance of cookies or technologies that require consent.

The visitor must have options to accept, reject or configure these technologies and be able to modify their choice later.

Rejecting optional tracking should not prevent you from submitting the contact forms or the quote. Some third-party content may require authorization to be activated.

The acceptance of the privacy information in a form does not replace specific consent for tracking technologies.

6. How to delete or block cookies

You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies and other stored data:

Blocking the necessary technologies may affect the functioning of some site options.

7. Protection of personal data

To learn how ESGROUP handles personal data, the retention periods, and how to exercise your rights, please consult our Privacy Policy.

You can contact us at hello@esgroup.es.

8. Updates

This policy will be updated when the technologies used or their purposes change. The date of update is indicated at the beginning of the document.
